Right hardware minimizes unpleasant surprises. Being built on Java MSP Center Plus requires slightly more resources than other competing offerings. But their happiness ends right there. MSP Center Plus is frugal on bandwidth utilization, extremely quick on page loading, comprehensive on feature set, and affordable to procure and maintain than all of them. Recommended hardware specifications for the Central and Probe servers are as follows:

For Central Server, if the number of devices managed exceeds above 2500, we insist you maintain the DB on a separate machine.

For Probe Server that handles load more than 1000 polls per minuter we insist you to have

Quad core
Windows XP Professional or Windows 2003 Server
4GB RAM
